WAMI Song Of The Year nominations... and some shows

hey folks,

TWO WAMI NOMINATIONS
a quick missive to say that I've had TWO songs nominated in the
upcoming WAMI Song Of The Year competition - both from the
new album Now That The Horses Have Bolted.

band song 'The Father' has been nominated in the rock category
and the solo acoustic tune 'Iron Horse' has been nominated for the
blues'n'roots category. the awards are announced Oct 9th.

there's a site where you can here and vote for the most popular
WAMI-nominated song at http://www.perthnow.com.au if you want
to have a say yourself about what you like etc.

SHOWS STARTING UP AGAIN
after a little break over September, I'm getting back in the saddle
again this weekend to kick off our summer shows. as I'll be
spending most of 2009 in europe, we're lining up some shows
through the summer before I disappear... they start with:
