walk for climate change this saturday

<color><param>0100,0100,0100</param>regardless of how quickly you think it's coming, the reality is, it is
coming. climate change needs to be on the domestic political
agenda and it's only people like us that can make it more of a
political issue.

you can do this on saturday 4th november by showing up in big
numbers at the walk against warming protests that are happening
all around the nation.

here's a chance for you to walk the talk. show up. be counted.

check out:http://www.getup.org.au/campaign.asp?campaign_id=20

for more details.

thanks for your consideration.

from the paddock to the paddo

greetings all.

the lads and I have just returned from a hideaway down south
where we've been recording a few of our newer songs. holed up
near jingalup, miles from the nearest mobile phone tower and even
further from the nearest pub, we put in 4 long studio days in a little
farmhouse while shearers a little further down the hill worked
almost as hard drafting and crutching thousands of little bleaters.
we'll post some pics up on the web some time soon for you to have
a gander at but suffice to say we're a little over the studio and keen
to crank in to some gigs.

enter the Paddo -

[Paddington Alehouse - 141 Scarborough Beach Rd Mt Hawthorne]
THIS SUNDAY 22ND OCTOBER....

- where we'll be cranking up as a band this coming Sunday and the
distance to beer and phone reception gets a whole lot closer. so if
you want to find out all about life on the farm then come on over
and have a chat after.

also playing are Ben Witt @ 6pm, Luke Kordyl @ 7pm and
Latiesha...

this will be the Spirits' last metro gig for a while. if you haven't seen
the band in a while, sunday would be your best bet.

would love to see you there,
Simon et al.
