so this is the big metro launch - thurs 22nd June

<color><param>0100,0100,0100</param>hey folks,

mark it in your diary if it's not there already. <bold>thursday 22nd @ mojos</bold>. this will be our
perth metro launch for highway state of mind, the new album.

starting proceedings - <bold>empty state</bold> - fronted by the unnaturally talented adrian hoffman
(yes, the son of Hoffy of no flowers no wedding dress/db threshold fame) these guys
better hope liquor licensing doesn't show up 'cause they're all under age. quite
underage. but it's no kiddie act - the songs are sublim. be there by eight to catch them.

next up - <bold>ramble & the sleepers</bold> - you haven't seen this much energy in a local act
for as long as you can remember and it's a little like john butler without the dreads but
more swampy mixed with some mr harper and some down-to-earth songs. kindred
spirits, these guys you will like.

then <bold>Simon London + the Spirits </bold>will hit the stage. well, we couldn't have you all up
too late on a week night and all so the lads will hit the stage by 10pm, playing album
tracks, new tracks other tracks and enjoying themselves as much as they would have
if Carlton had held on to their lead and punished the chardonnay Eagles set.

finishing up will be <bold>Crimson </bold>- you might know these guys as the most robbed band in
competition history as of last week and their efforts in some local comp but we all
know that band comps are a crock.... so we've asked the guys to deliver an acoustic
set to wind the night down. so be sure to stick around.

this is obviously a big night for the lads so please make sure you're organised to be
there and if you haven't already you can find yourself a new t-shirt and a copy of
highway state of mind.
