meandering ambience par excellence?

thought it was going to be quiet for a while and then these gigs came along...

Wed 19th - Mojos Nth Freo - Simon & Clem (EARLY).

This is another duo show but with a difference. Rambling atmospherics are the order of the day, so there'll be no song set-list, instead it'll be forty-five minutes of rolling, shape-changing stream of consciousness stuff. Like nothing they've done before. Simon & Clem start proceedings, playing from 8:30 - 9:15pm. Other acts include Ramble and the Sleepers, Heads We're Dancing and Jasmine Loop Control.

Thurs 20th - Swan Hotel Nth Freo - Simon solo (LATE)

This'll be the first solo show from Simon in ages. Mostly new songs on a mostly new guitar with requests from the floor and whatever the hell else might happen. Simon starts around 11pm, so you'll need to drink like there's no work friday. Or do it the Aussie way and pull a sickie. Think of it as an up yours to kevin andrews & lil' johnny.

As you know, the new album is coming so we're booking a Simon London + the Spirits band tour through VIC, NSW and QLD for July. If you're from those parts and have a venue or a band you'd like to see the Spirits play at or team up with then drop us a line. Sorry SA and TAS, we know you're there, but you'll maybe have to wait for a summer solo tour.... or a major label touring budget?
